The alternative to Rock Choir…

22 November 2011 News

You may have seen the phenomenon that is Rock Choir advertised locally, or even on TV. They have done very well indeed and now have numerous branches around the UK. But if you work in the City of London and want to sing in a choir, it’s quite a business to travel home after work to wherever you live, cook some dinner, help the kids with their homework, then traipse out again for a rehearsal. And if you can’t make rehearsals for a couple of weeks – what a pain! You’ve paid for those rehearsals.

London City Voices makes it easy for you. You can pop in for 90 minutes after work. It’s close to lots of major stations. And you’re done by 8pm. If you’ve got family waiting at home you can go straight back to them and put your feet up in front of the TV for the rest of the night. Or you can come for a drink with us after rehearsal. And, best of all, if you can’t make the rehearsal, you don’t pay for it. In today’s society, when so much is demanded of us, it’s hard enough to commit even to watching both parts of a 2-part documentary on TV, let alone promise yourself for 10 weeks of rehearsals! So come and be a part of the community that is London City Voices. Our second rehearsal is tomorrow, Wed 23 Nov, at the Guild Church of St Margaret Pattens, Eastcheap.
