A large number of people attend on Wednesday so there is always a good representation across all parts and the church setting is beautiful with brilliant acoustics.

Beautiful environment to rehearse in. Lovely people in Jamie's afterwards. All nights have their own qualities and I like all of them for different reasons. I value the 'space' in St Mary's at the moment.

St Mary-at-Hill offers us a beautiful space to rehearse in

St Mary-at-Hill is an impressive Christopher Wren church with a gorgeous acoustic and a lovely Bluthner grand piano. This is where LCV began back in 2011 with just a few of us standing round the piano. Now we regularly welcome over 100 people through the doors.

After rehearsal we head down the road to The Cheshire Cheese (Crutched Friars) for a well-deserved beverage. After about half an hour of chat, we pop our backing tracks on the speaker and enjoy a rousing rendition of many of our favourite arrangements.

How to find this rehearsal

St Mary-at-Hill is located down a narrow cobbled street (Lovat Lane) just off Eastcheap. We usually have around 70 people attending on a Wednesday.

The church is wheelchair accessible via a ramp that is kept in the church. There is also an accessible toilet.
