Do you love singing in a choir but find it hard to hold your line against other singers? Do you struggle with timing or confidence? Then this workshop is for you.

The workshop will include some fun exercises and games to help you hold your vocal line, and Richard will help you understand a bit more about what's going on in the music. There will be lots of practical tips and tricks, and lots of singing. There will also be plenty of chances to ask questions, so you can make sure your particular bugbear is addressed.

This highly practical workshop is £20, and is led by Richard Swan.

Venue: Rugby Tavern, Great James Street, WC1N 3ES

Time: 12-5 (one hour for lunch)

Richard is the founder and director of London City Voices, a huge multi-branch non-audition choir. A musician, bandleader and educator for the past 30 years, one of Richard's main areas of expertise lies in helping people who believe they have no singing ability at all to find freedom - and accuracy - in singing. He is currently writing a book and an online course aimed at exactly this demographic in the hope that many people will experience the joy that singing can bring.
